ICC Sydney Exhibition Centre

 

Winners of the 2026 preliminary competition will receive flights and accommodation to travel to Nagoya, Japan in 2027 to compete in the world finals!


What does the WCS Australia Preliminary Competition involve? 

  • A Team of two Cosplayers compete in a skit based competition

  • The costumes are handmade

  • The work must be a Japanese manga, anime, video game, or tokusatsu character

  • Stage performance judging time is 2 minutes and 30 seconds

  • Background screen can be used as a stage direction

  • Rank will be determined by the sum of the costume and stage performance judging

This form must be submitted within 72 hours after an Invitation to Compete email is received. The exact Submission Date & Time will be provided in the Invitation to Compete email, so please make sure to read it carefully.
