The World Cosplay Summit (also known as the Olympics of Cosplay) is a yearly competition where cosplayers showcase their handmade costumes and performances to determine the world's best cosplayer. In 2025 41 countries sent their nation's best to the finals in Nagoya.

World Cosplay Summit Australia Incorporated Association is a Not-for-Profit organisation made up of dedicated volunteers whose goal is to support the Australian Cosplay Community through hosting events/activities. WCS Australia preliminaries have run consecutively since 2009, partnering with SMASH! since 2014.
